Rockler Sewing, Quilting, and Small Box Plans

This plan from Better Homes and Gardens Wood magazine, along with Rockler's special value lift mechanism and hardware kit, can help you build a beautiful, highly functional sewing center!

Build your own deluxe sewing center with cabinet tops that fold out in two directions for doubling your countertop work surface, multiple storage drawers and a special serger compartment. The plan utilizes the special sewing machine lift mechanism offered in this section of our electronic catalog.

An optional hardware kit is also available. The Hardware Kit includes brass sewing machine hinges, twin ball catches, cherry Shaker knobs, table pins and brass piano hinges.

4' Walnut Small Box Molding
The machined, clear walnut molding is designed specially for use on small projects such as jewelry and music boxes or humidors. It’s pre-grooved for a 1/4’’ bottom and a bead on top. Molding measures 2-3/4’’ tall and is 7/16’’ at the thinnest point. 1/2’’ top accommodates most jewelry box hinges and hardware, such as our collection of small box hardware and hinges. Sold in 4’ lengths only.
