Jill Badonsky's Trickyleaks : July/August Creativity 'Owner's Manual' Leaks
The Muse Is In: An Owner's Guide for Your Creativity
The July/August Leaks
8 Excerpts from Creativity 'Owner's Manual'
By Jill Badonsky
We at Trickyleaks (who’s spelling apparently changes from issue to issue to throw off our detractors), are determined to keep leaking Jill Badonsky’s Owner Manual to Your Creativity through Flits on Flutter in an effort to continue our rise as a significant leader in leaks of unreleased books and other breathtaking news and flotsam.
However, the Badonsky manuscript is slippery. We couldn’t seem to hold on to it long enough this time to copy complete passages and the camera on our cuss-word smart-phone takes too long to get a good shot (which is so frustrating).
So our team of reporters-with-really-good-memories have quickly memorized snippets of the book during its fleeting passage through our offices (tables at Peet’s Coffee) and we’ve included eight of the juiciest ones below for your creative-pleasure.
We hope these quotes make sense; it was hard to remember some of the first ones listed so they may not be as complete as we’d like. If they don’t seem right, make up the rest of the sentence. . . because that’s creative too.
Which of those quotes do you think you were supposed to read today because it applies specifically to YOU? (There may be two.) We’ve noticed that the phenomenon of reading what you need to know happens in a BIG way with this Badonsky book. Several of our reporters have changed really bad attitudes and trends (and one got rid of a pet Alpaca) as a result.
We hope you’ve enjoyed these excerpts. Our reporters risked their lives (and one broke a fingernail) to obtain this coveted material.
The world is finally recognizing the fulfillment potential of making time for creativity, including those who formerly thought creativity was just for a talented few like Tom Robbins or Tom Waits . . . or van Gogh (we could go on).
If we all took just a few moments everyday to feed our creative mind with poetry, art, and our own beautiful epiphanies, no doubt the world would be a better place. Seriously. •
