Chris Dunmire's Cartoony Drawing Contest

Contest ends May 5, 2005 (open to U.S. residents only)

Sample Cartoony LessonThis is a SUPER EASY drawing contest where you won’t be judged on your fine art skills! Nope, all you have to do is put some creative effort into hand drawing one of my simple cartoony lessons, scan it, and e-mail it to me. Two winners will be randomly selected from the first 10 submissions I receive.

PRIZES:

First place: $15 Rockler.com Gift Card

Second place: $10 Rockler.com Gift Card

Consolation Prizes: All participants allowing us to showcase their entries on the Creativity Portal will get free link promotion to their Web site and mention in our next newsletter.

GUIDELINES:

  1. Choose any Cartoony Drawing Lesson from www.chrisdunmire.com/fun/draw/

  2. Follow the lesson (hand draw and color a picture).

  3. Scan your picture (or take a digital photo) and send it to me at [edited because contest is over] with the subject: “Cartoony Contest Submission.”

(Image specs: 72 dpi, max size 6” x 6”). Include your name, state, Web site name and URL.)

    IMPORTANT:
Submissions without the above subject line will be treated as spam and deleted.

  4. Submissions must be received by May 5, 2005. Remember, two winners will be randomly selected from the first 10 submissions I receive, so the earlier you submit, the greater your chances of winning a prize.

RULES:

  1. This contest is only open to Creativity Portal e-Newsletter subscribers who are U.S. residents (due to nature and redemption of prizes).

  2. One submission allowed per participant.

  3. As soon as 10 submissions are received, the random drawing will be done.

  4. Two winners will be contacted immediately after the drawing for their mailing addresses for the Rockler.com Gift Card prizes.

  5. Any submission (but not all) may be considered for indefinite showcase on the Creativity Portal Web site. If your picture is chosen, it will be published with credit to you and a link to your Web site. You’ll also get an honorable mention in our next newsletter.

  6. We’re not responsible for “lost” e-mail submissions, or submissions that don’t follow guidelines and are deleted.

  7. All decisions are final.

  8. Void where prohibited.

Well, what are you waiting for? Git yer pencils out and start drawin’!
