Excerpt from "Let the Wire Inspire":
"If you are skeptical, and you are thinking that you could not possibly be an artist because you don’t have a creative bone in your body, then you need to remember this: creativity does not come from your bones; it comes from your heart!" Wire Art – A Whole New Language

Angela Hook Inspires with Wire

Along with my enthusiasm over hosting several of Elizabeth Berrien's wire art workshops on the Creativity Portal, a few months ago I discovered the work of wire artist Angela Hook and slushed about her in a piece titled, Wire Art: Energy at Play!

Since then several events have transpired that have me wired with more enthusiasm than ever about this unconventional artistic medium:

First, Angela sent me a gift copy of her book, "Let the Wire Inspire: Release Your Creative Energy" and I am not kidding when I say that magic inspiring pixie dust fell out between its pages when I started reading it. Truly! By the end of the book I was courageously bending my first wire sculpture and I am totally primed to do more.

Second, My enthusiasm over Angela's book prompted me to write a glowing review about it because IT IS THAT GOOD. You can read my review here: Let the Wire Inspire: Release Your Creative Energy.

Third, Angela was very kind in allowing Creativity Portal permission to publish an excerpt from chapter 2 of her book: Wire Art — A Whole New Language. By the end of this piece you too may very well be in love with this wonderful, creative form of art.

Angela has a true gift in her presentation and skill in teaching wire art to others. You can learn more about her by visiting her profile page on the Creativity Portal and by visiting her Web site, www.wireinspire.com.

Chris Humor: Sticky Notes I Never Hope to See!
You may think that these innocent-looking yellow stickies are helpful around the office. But what if they're used to launch a medley of missile attacks against your good creative nature? May you never be struck with stickies as surreptitious as these...

And Thank YOU, Iris!
"Just wanted to say what a wonderful idea the Collage Cubies are... can't wait to try one out myself. Well done Chris Dunmire, what a clever person you are! Sending colourful wishes from Inverness, Scotland."
