Quoteworthy
“We cannot, beforehand, know the exact nature and presence of what we are birthing, as we work in our art, our craft, our message. We cannot plan that. We just have to keep staying as true as we can to our inner promptings and take each step, and correct each misstep as best we can.”

Would You Like to Design a 2011 Calendar Month Page?
I'm trying something new this year for the 2011 Creativity Portal calendar project: a multicultural collaboration. Yes, instead of taking on the entire project by myself, I wondered how many others might like the opportunity to collaborate with me and design one month for the printable calendar in their own special style. (For inspiration, see my 2010 calendar here.)

I figured if I could get 12 artists from anywhere in the world willing to participate and turn in their designs by mid-November, we could roll out the downloadable 2011 calendar by the December 1 NewZine. So far I have four participants signed up, anticipating eight more to RSVP by November 5, 2010.

Want to join in on the fun? This invitation is open to any artist in the world (even current Creativity Portal contributors), but you do need to RSVP ASAP to reserve a month. This is a fantastic opportunity to let your artistic talent shine and promote yourself, your Web site, business, organization, blog, book, or Facebook group for an entire year on Creativity-Portal.com.
