Writer's Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers List
Creativity Portal Named a Writer's Digest Best Website for 2011
Creativity Portal is honored to be included among Writer's Digest's annual guide of 101 Best Websites for Writers in its must-have May/June 2011 issue. We have enjoyed this privilege in previous years, appearing on the list formerly in 2006.

Thank you to everyone who has nominated our site and to Brian Klems and the WD staff for listing Creativity Portal #2 in the Creativity category this year encouraging writers at all levels to "Enjoy photo prompts, creative writing exercises, and how-to advice to help you generate ideas for your work."

This praise is appreciated and wouldn't have happened without the collective effort and collaboration of the many creativity coaches, writing mentors, authors, publishing houses, photo prompt artists, and others who have contributed their experience and expertise to our creative community. Thank you, everyone!

If you would like to become part of our expert community and share your voice of experience, please review our submission guidelines and contact us.
Video Thrilled the Creativity Star: Call for Submissions
Have you produced your own creativity-inspiring videos hosted on YouTube (or other site) and allow others to embed them on their sites? If so, we're launching a new video feature on Creativity Portal to help visually inspire our progressive community and invite you to submit your copyright-friendly videos for consideration for inclusion in this feature.

We're seeking high-quality, low-commercial, family-friendly videos that touch on any aspect of cultural creativity, creative expression, artistic development, how-to's (demos, tutorials), coaching, and collaboration. Videos submitted with introductory text, context, and application are desired and will be promoted with full attribution.

For consideration, please submit your video link(s) along with your Web site and organization your video promotes (if other than personal/hobby) via our contact form with the subject: Creativity Inspiring Video.
