The Macrame Project is a fundraising project which is based in Ecuador. It utilizes the natural appeal of macrame and creates handmade bracelets and other popular items. Macrame bracelets are very popular due to their powerful color scheme and unique texture. Macrame is created by using a series of knots that creates a decoration and is often combined with small shells or stones to enhance its appearance.

A: It is a win-win-win activity. I win by connecting with my Muse, learning and understanding. My readers and clients win from what I am able to share and explain. The Universal Thought Pool wins by increasing, even if ever so slightly, in size. ~ Tom Evans, Modern Day Alchemist

While browsing the writing section at Barnes & Noble recently, I spotted The Write-Brain Workbook by our own Bonnie Neubauer (remember the Punny Costumes contest?). I suddenly remembered that Bonnie & I had discussed featuring a series of exercises from her book as well as Take Ten for Writers on Creativity Portal. Thanks to BN, I got back in touch with her and resumed our creative collaboration . . . in more ways than one.
The exciting news is that beginning in February, and over the next few months, you'll be treated to a hand-picked selection of Bonnie's fun-filled writing prompts and exercises (she let me choose 10 from each book), and you'll get to experience her wordalicious-ness play through, among many things, onomatopoeia, 'one sill a bull', 'LINGO-istics', and 'VocabuLeery'. I'm SO looking forward to this!
Now, back to that "in more ways than one." This is not a math problem, but somewhere between Philadelphia and Chicago right now a heavy box of rocks (weighing x pounds) is being shipped my way. A box of rocks? Yes, 6 of Bonnie's painted JoyRox, which you can learn all about in her 20 Questions Interview and at www.JoyRox.net (hint: think Bonnie Neubauer + Zentangle + Pet Rocks + Found Art).
Because I want to be sure Bonnie's rocks arrive "safely" before I say anything more, I'll stand behind this little stone-hedge until they get here. Meanwhile, look at this picture she sent me of the cute lil' things (Hay! Now I challenge you to visit Bonnie's site to see if you can figure out what she wants me to do with them). See how infectious she is? Yeah, I know!
P.S.S. I'm still available as a Master Coach to coaches-in-training in the next Badonsky/Maurer Kaizen-Muse™ Creativity Coach Training session beginning February 15. If you're planning on taking this 17-week creativity- and life-enhancing course and would like to work with me, please request me when you register online.
