Call for Submissions Still OPEN for '365 Pictures' Daily Prompt Feature

Would you like to be part of our new 365 Pictures prompts feature? You're invited to if you're willing to submit an original digital picture (photography, digital art, illustration, or image of traditional artwork) along with a text prompt in the form of a thought-provoking question, story starter, or a few sentences to encourage inner exploration for this collaborative project!

Call for Submissions

We're in the process of filling 365 daily "prompt slots" aimed to inspire artists of all kinds in their writing, blogging, meditation, and other creative or spiritual practices. Join the growing number of artists already queued up in our '365 Pictures' feature which will generate a new picture with its accompanying text prompt daily for our visitors all year long. Your submission(s) will be credited to you along with a link to your Web site or blog (see how it plays out here).

Where to Submit:

Please submit your digital picture/text prompt pairs (you may submit more than one!) along with your name and Web site URL via e-mail to Chris Dunmire at with the subject line: 365 Pictures. Only submit pictures which you are the copyright holder and text prompts not copied from elsewhere, unless they already belong to you. Be original! Again, text prompts need to be in the form of (choose one):

a thought-provoking question, or
a short paragraph (1-3 sentences) to encourage inner exploration, or
a story starter

All digital picture/text prompts pairs will be credited with your name and Web site or blog URL and forever archived on our Web site for years to come. Your name and URL will also be included on a special acknowledgments/thank you page in appreciation for your creative collaboration.

Submission Details:

Pictures should be 72dpi and in a .jpg or .gif format and cropped no larger than 432 pixels wide. If you don't know how to do this, we'll size it on our end. Picture length is flexible.

Text prompt length is flexible. Prompts should be pasted into body of e-mail.

If submitting more than one picture/text prompt pair, please organize them in batches of no more than five (5) per e-mail, being sure text designation for pictures is clear.

A discreet watermark or copyright notice on your picture is permitted on the side or corner. Discreet means non-distracting.

All submissions will be reviewed for inclusion but may not be selected for any reason. If your submission is chosen for inclusion, we'll notify you.
