There's good reason cute little story rabbits like Bugs Bunny and Peter Cottontail like eating carrots from the garden: Wild cottontails are notorious for eating up vegetation humans would rather they not.
The little somebunny featured in these photos was one of several non-fiction rabbits hopping around my yard earlier this Spring. The warren of rabbits was responsible for eating up dozens of my spring-sprouting sunflowers!
I know you want to get to the free rabbit photos, so I'll just jump to the climax of my sunflower story: I planted. The rabbits ate. No they ravished like they were at some bunny buffet.
Here's a photo of a bunny delicacy you probably shouldn't plant outside if you have rabbits scooting around your yard: baby sunflowers (you can have this photo too).

Still, despite the dozens of ungrown, unbloomed sunflowers I didn't get to enjoy in my flower garden this year, the baby bunnies were just too cute to stay mad at. They were just following their instincts. Heck, humans will eat almost anything when they're hungry too.
