Superstar! Bookmark ProjectSchool's back in session and book reading couldn't be more popular! Librarians, bibliophiles, teachers, and parents will enjoy this fun papercraft project with kids (or by themselves!): 1. Choose and download a 1- or 2-piece blank bookmark template from the download selection on this page. 2. Print bookmark cutouts on desired colored or textured paper (card stock recommended). 3. Cut out bookmarks (assemble two-piece cutouts with glue or double-sided tape). 4. Personalize bookmarks with inspiring or funny words or slogans related to reading (FEED YOUR MIND, ABSORB KNOWLEGE, MARK THAT SPOT, PAUSE HERE) and/or artfully decorate with collage, mod-podge, color, drawings or doodles. The possibilities are endless. Be creative! TIP: Bookmarks should be flat and free of any leaky/smearing medium or debris that can fall off or get left behind between book pages. Laminate with sticky sheets to preserved for years of enjoyment and use. |
