Ever felt like a creative genius? This is your chance to shine! Enter the My Own True Genius contest by submitting a short essay (200-300 words) describing a time when you felt the genius of creative inspiration for a chance to win a fabulous Grand Prize The Book Club in a Box!

- Five (5) signed copies of Jennie Nash's new novel, The Only True Genius in the Family.

Contest Criteria
Entries will be judged by Jennie Nash on the following criteria:
- Passion. I want to feel your creative fire!
- Content. There's not a lot of space, so make it count!
- Style. I'm looking for texture, detail, a turn of phrase that makes me sit up and notice.
Submission Rules & Qualifications
The following submission rules and qualifications apply:
- Contestants must be residents of the United States and 18 years of age or older to enter this contest.
- Contestants may submit only one (1) essay.
- Essays must be the original work of the contestant. Plagiarism = disqualification and bad karma!
- Essays must address this topic: "Describe a time when you felt the genius of creative inspiration."
- Essays must be between 200-300 words.
- Essay submission deadline is March 15, 2009. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Winners will be announced in April 2009 on the Creativity Portal Web site and in its e-mail NewZine. Winners will also be posted on Jennie Nash's blog, www.meetyourmuse.blogspot.com.
- By entering this contest, all contestants (winners and non-winners) hereby grant permission to Creativity Portal to publish and forever archive their essays on its domain without monetary compensation. (Contestants retain copyright ownership of their works and their Web URL will appear along with their name in the copyright credit line.)
