The Velveeta® Elvis Two-Timer Word Search Puzzles

Find the words. Twice.

Elvis Word search puzzleI wonder if Elvis Presley ever lost his car keys? He had plenty of opportunities because with his fame he became a passionate car collector amassing a lot full of classic vehicles from Cadillac's to Lincoln's plus a few go-karts and a John Deere tractor.

Wait, a John Deere tractor‽

Interrobangs aside, finding random stuff about Elvis is fun. For example, did you know that he served in the US Army? My dad served at the same time and recounts when he and Elvis were both stationed in Germany. What a memory!

What else? Elvis never performed outside of North America. And he owned a pet chimpanzee named Scatter. I wonder if Scatter also loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches as much as Elvis did!

Here's another way to find stuff related to Elvis. And Velveeta® cheese. By now you might know about the whole Velveeta® Elvis parody kick going around here at Creativity Portal which started quite trivially, but has expanded with a two-timer word search to find the hidden words twice. Isn't that nice?

Sleuth your skills in the video puzzle above, or download and print the puzzle to pen on below. Either way, there's lots to find, with dopamine hits aplenty. And for transparency, Creativity Portal has nothing to do with the cheese brand other than pairing it with another 20th Century cultural icon to pun around with. Promise!

Elvis' Wiley Wordplay

John Deere TractorSo why did Elvis like the iconic green and yellow John Deere tractor? Maybe because they were THE KING of the fields!

But seriously, Presley was known for his clever and playful use of language, often incorporating humor and wordplay into his interviews and stage banter. Here are some examples:

  • When asked about his hip-shaking dance moves, he quipped, "I just wiggle a little and it all falls into place."
  • He once joked about his love of food, saying, "I eat a lot, but I don't put on weight. I guess I have a high metabolism or something."
  • When asked about his musical influences, he said, "I just take a little bit from everybody and make it my own. It's like making a stew — you throw everything in the pot and see what comes out."
  • He was also known for his humorous one-liners, such as "A little less conversation, a little more action" and "If you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
  • And finally, when asked about his famous lip curl, Elvis said "it comes from thinking about sour lemons." Actually, that's not true — I just made it up because life has given me lots of lemons and I'm looking for creative ways to use them up. 🍋
